About the Role
Join our 3rd Floor Short Stay/Ortho/Med Surg Unit, caring for orthopedic, surgical recovery, short-stay surgical patients, and complex medical-surgical cases.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Support patients and families throughout their care journey.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current Iowa RN license required
- American Heart Association BLS required
- ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring
- Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications

- 1-3 years of experience: $15,000
- 3+ years of experience: $20,000
