Key Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate application of technical methods of the work and verify compliance with criteria.
- Monitor current design trends/methodologies related to their area of expertise.
- Participate in the development of engineering design studies and reports.
- Participate in the development of engineering design details, specifications, contract drawings and estimates.
- Perform design calculations.
- Field work as a team member for inspections, locate utilities, various topo items, etc.
- Research SHA and County Records, such as for plats, deeds, records, etc.
- Earthwork and other quantities.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Operate CADD systems and CADD based programs, if appropriate for their technical discipline.
