About the Role
We're looking for a Script Editor who can elevate short drama scripts by strengthening story structure, improving pacing, refining dialogue, and ensuring scripts are production-ready. Key Responsibilities
- Review and enhance script structure
- Identify plot gaps, continuity issues, and pacing concerns
- Strengthen character motivations and emotional impact
- Refine dialogue and scene transitions
- Improve hooks, twists, and cliffhangers
- Ensure screenplay formatting standards are maintained
- Collaborate closely with writers and creative teams
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong understanding of storytelling fundamentals
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to assess narrative flow and script quality
- Knowledge of screenplay formatting
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback
Qualifications
- Experience editing movie, web-series, or drama scripts
- Portfolio or editing samples
- Freelance script editing experience
