About the Role
BK Design Studio is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Interior Designer to join their Pune-based interior design firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sketches, drawings, and drafts for interior design projects.
- Work on AutoCAD and SketchUp files for layouts, elevations, and detailing.
- Assist the lead designer with concept development and space planning.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and on-site teams during project execution.
- Attend site visits and support project coordination end-to-end.
- Take initiative in managing smaller project tasks independently over time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD — mandatory.
- Strong drafting and hand-sketching skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to visit sites across Pune as needed.
- Self-starter attitude with a keen eye for design and detail.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (freshers welcome).
- Bonus: Familiarity with 3ds Max, Lumion, Revit, or similar software.
