About the Role
Crossing Infotech is hiring a WordPress Developer Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship duration is 1 to 3 months with a monthly stipend. Freshers and students are welcome to apply.
Interns will work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.
Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain websites and landing pages using WordPress, themes, and page builders such as Elementor.
- Customize themes and layouts using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Install, configure, and update plugins to keep websites secure and running smoothly.
- Make websites responsive for mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.
- Apply on-page SEO, improve page speed, and set up basic tracking (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Update website content, fix bugs, and handle routine website maintenance and backups.
- Create contact forms, blog pages, and basic e-commerce pages using WooCommerce.
- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of WordPress (pages, posts, themes, plugins, widgets).
- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English communication.
- Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, or jQuery (Good to Have).
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, hosting, cPanel, and domain setup (Good to Have).
- Basic understanding of Figma or Canva (Good to Have).
- Any WordPress project, portfolio website, course, or certification (Good to Have).
Eligibility
- Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), BA, BBA, M.Sc, or any related field.
- Freshers interested in building a career in WordPress and web development.
- Candidates with a laptop/computer and a stable internet connection.
