Cloud FinOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities to propose improvements or new solutions.
• Support various internal teams with cloud cost information.
• Prepare budgets and recommend limits on usage to senior management.
• Prepare cost estimates and forecasts for new architectures.
• Continuously improve pricing models for existing architectures.
• Document procedures, configurations, and best practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and general cloud computing concepts.
• Moderate understanding of infrastructure metrics, monitoring, and analytics.
• Passion for technology and a focus on automation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn how they apply to cloud optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT or system support, or similar related experience.
• AWS Certification(s) are preferred.
