Software Engineer

About the Role

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winston-Salem, NC, for an early-career developer. It offers an opportunity to build hands-on experience across various applications and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript/React, and SQL.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, data, and performance issues and work with the team to identify solutions.
• Contribute to new development and improvements to existing applications.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support existing internal applications and business tools.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and process workflows.
• Work collaboratively with other developers and team members across a variety of projects.
• Continuously learn new technologies, systems, and development practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A solid foundation in software development and programming fundamentals.
• Exposure to C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and/or React through coursework, internships, professional experience, or personal projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work through unfamiliar challenges.
• An adaptable mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoyment of working collaboratively with others.
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Microsoft Access (Nice to Have)
• VBA (Nice to Have)

Pay And Benefits

• Pay Range: $33.00 - $38.00/hr
