About the Role
HAIR RAP BY YOYO is seeking a full-time, on-site Video Editor based in Ahmedabad. This role will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for digital platforms that highlights the salon's services, transformations, and brand story.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, edit, and produce video content.
- Assemble raw footage.
- Apply cuts and transitions.
- Perform color grading.
- Add sound and music.
- Incorporate graphics or motion elements.
- Collaborate with the salon team to plan content.
- Maintain brand consistency in video output.
- Optimize videos for social media and marketing campaigns.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media formats and best practices for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production, including planning shoots, capturing footage, and managing basic lighting and sound.
- Advanced skills in Video Editing, including timeline management, transitions, and storytelling through visual sequences.
- Expertise in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, polished, and brand-aligned visual output.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements for digital content.
- Ability to collaborate with creative and salon teams, take feedback constructively, and meet deadlines reliably.
- Prior experience in lifestyle, beauty, or fashion content creation is an advantage.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work is highly beneficial.
