The Quantum hardware team is responsible for designing and characterization of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware, and QpiAI ASGP.
About the Role
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Chip Design Engineer to join a cutting-edge research and development team. The role encompasses designing multi-qubit circuits for fabrication and developing next-generation quantum processors with improved gate and measurement fidelities. This role involves working closely with the nanofabrication team to develop novel superconducting qubit architectures and filing patents.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.
- Experience with design of quantum circuits and gds tapeout using custom tools or commercial software like HFSS, ADS Quantum Pro and simulation.
- Expertise in developing circuit architecture to improve the performance of gates and readout.
- Knowledge and strong understanding of circuit QED, and error-correction schemes preferably in superconducting qubits.
- Proven track record of successful projects and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of quantum technology.
- Experience with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Experience in writing analysis reports to help the definition of DOE and improvement plan for experimentation plan is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
