About the Role
We are seeking a Video Production Editor with a strong portfolio and a keen eye for detail. This role is ideal for individuals with up to one year of experience who can demonstrate their skills through their work. You will be editing videos for D2C and edtech brands, working with both real footage and AI-generated videos. The position requires adaptability to different editing styles, an understanding of video intent, and the ability to transform raw footage or generated visuals into engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, advertisements, and other digital content.
- Work with both live-action footage and AI-generated videos.
- Create engaging edits using strong hooks, pacing, transitions, sound design, and visual effects.
- Translate creative briefs into compelling visual stories.
- Adapt editing styles for different brands, audiences, and platforms.
- Explore AI video tools and new editing techniques to enhance creative output.
- Collaborate with creative, content, and performance marketing teams to execute video concepts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- A strong video editing portfolio demonstrating skills and creative thinking.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, music, sound design, and visual composition.
- Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar.
- Understanding of short-form video formats and social media content.
- Interest in AI-generated video and familiarity with tools like Kling, Runway, Google Veo, or similar platforms.
- Attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to incorporate feedback.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and improve your craft.
Qualifications
- Ideal for freshers, self-taught editors, and candidates with up to one year of experience.
- Practical ability, creative instincts, and quality of work are valued over formal qualifications or years of experience.
- Portfolio can include professional projects, college assignments, personal experiments, or self-initiated work.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Bommanahalli, Bangalore
- Work Mode: Hybrid
- Office Requirement: 3 days per week from the office.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate and commute to Bommanahalli.
