Data Engineer Intern

About the Role

As a Data Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on cloud-based data engineering projects that directly support AI and machine learning initiatives. The Data Engineering team develops software and infrastructure to manage CNH’s AI and Surround Sense data pipelines, which are critical for evaluating product performance and accelerating the delivery of algorithms that power next-generation technologies in autonomy and smart machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development and maintenance of data pipelines that process, manage, and analyze large volumes of AI and sensor data.
• Supporting migration efforts from AWS to Azure, depending on project priorities during the internship term.
• Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to improve data flow efficiency and infrastructure scalability.
• Working on existing projects to build technical skills and contribute to ongoing improvements.
• Exploring opportunities to optimize pipelines for speed, performance, and reliability to better support product delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree.
• Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering or a related field.
