Health Specialist

About the Role

The Health Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, supporting the wellbeing and safety of team members at Dream Matter Labs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine health assessments.
• Monitor workplace conditions.
• Provide guidance on occupational health standards appropriate for a game studio environment.
• Offer basic medical advice within scope of practice.
• Coordinate referrals to healthcare providers when necessary.
• Promote healthy work habits such as ergonomics, stress management, and work–life balance.
• Design and deliver health promotion activities, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
• Maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement wellness policies.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills to explain health information clearly, build trust, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong Customer Service skills to provide empathetic, responsive support to team members seeking health-related assistance.
• Strong Occupational Health skills to assess workplace risks, recommend preventive measures, and support compliance with relevant health and safety standards.
• Medicine-related knowledge to carry out basic health assessments, offer first-line guidance, and coordinate care with licensed medical professionals.
• Strong Health Promotion skills to design wellness initiatives, facilitate training sessions, and encourage sustainable healthy behaviors.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in public health, occupational health, nursing, or a related field.
• Experience in workplace health programs, corporate wellness, or health education is beneficial.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and adhere to ethical and legal standards of health practice.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities, with proficiency in basic digital tools for record-keeping and reporting.
