About the Role
Join Mott MacDonald's Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) to drive BIM implementation across projects, ensuring seamless multidisciplinary coordination, maintaining project standards, and supporting the delivery of high-quality digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams in the use of BIM authoring tools.
- Hold weekly coordination meetings with team members.
- Create internal BIM standards for modelling tools and object libraries.
- Conduct early design review and constructability analysis.
- Produce information models/content using Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D.
- Select and implement solutions to automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo and new plugins.
- Develop and maintain BIM project documentation (e.g., BEP, MIDP & TIPD).
- Implement and maintain the project Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Monitor project compliance to agreed workflows.
- Federate models and perform clash detection reporting.
- Coordinate and delegate project tasks amongst team members.
- Carry out BIM checks of models and deliverables.
- Identify and provide required trainings to team members and assist in upskilling.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley Projectwise.
- Strong 3D modelling skills (especially Autodesk Revit Structures and Civil 3D).
- Ability to carry out detailing in a 2D environment.
Qualifications
- Supplementary experience in Civil/Structural Engineering Design.
- Familiarity with working to industry modelling standards.
- Knowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2.
- EngTech TMICE or similar.
- Strong interest in 3D design, modelling, and creating immersive models.
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and contribute to the wider team.
- Experience in Infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Must have an eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
