About the Role
The Public Relations Intern will support the planning and execution of PR initiatives that elevate Startup Story® and the startups featured on its platform. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring coordination with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting press releases
- Assisting with media outreach
- Monitoring press coverage
- Maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets
- Preparing communication materials for events, interviews, and campaigns
- Contributing to strategic communication plans that align with the organization’s mission
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with basic office software
- Familiarity with social media platforms is an advantage
Qualifications
- Ability to work with Press Releases and basic content development for PR campaigns
- Foundational knowledge of Public Relations and an interest in startup ecosystems
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal expression
- Interest or experience in Media Relations and outreach to journalists or publications
- Understanding of Strategic Communications and message alignment with organizational goals
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfort working on-site in New Delhi and collaborating with cross-functional teams
