Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role

Pebbles Therapy Centre is a multi-speciality therapy clinic in Chennai dedicated to supporting children with various challenges. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat children with communication disorders, language disorders, and speech sound difficulties.
• Address feeding and swallowing concerns such as dysphagia.
• Conduct evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Monitor progress.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, special educators, families, and caregivers to ensure integrated care.
• Provide guidance to families on home programs and strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech assessment and intervention.
• Skills in managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in children.

• Relevant Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
• Appropriate licensure or registration as required.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical, school, or rehabilitation settings is highly beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with families and caregivers.
