Role Overview
We are hiring a Cyber Security Intern for a 1 to 3-month full-time remote role. This position involves monitoring system alerts, assisting in vulnerability assessments, analyzing security logs, and supporting the maintenance of secure digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security event logs, alerts, and potential incident notifications across systems.
- Assist in conducting routine vulnerability scans and basic configuration reviews.
- Analyze network traffic patterns to identify suspicious activities or unauthorized access attempts.
- Document security findings, threat reports, and remediation steps for the technical team.
- Support the implementation and compliance checks of standard cybersecurity protocols.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Degree or ongoing studies in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Freshers welcome).
- Working understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and operating system security (Linux/Windows).
- Foundational knowledge of core security concepts, common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), and basic penetration testing tools.
- Basic familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite) is an advantage.
- Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Compensation & Details
- Stipend: ₹14,000 – ₹15,000 per month
- Duration: 1 to 3 Months
- Work Mode: Remote (India)
- Certificate: Internship completion certificate upon successful project delivery.
