Multi Line Adjuster Trainee

About the Role

• Join GEICO's Multi-line Damage team as a Multi-line Property Damage Trainee.
• Serve as an ambassador for GEICO's customer service in a dynamic environment.
• Work may include repair shops, salvage yards, a customer's home, or a virtual estimating environment.
• This position primarily includes servicing boat, motorcycle, RV, and other specialty claims.
• Includes industry-leading, paid training, with 3 weeks of required hands-on experience at the Ashburn, VA training facility.
• Training will cover the ins and outs of physical damage adjusting and provide resources to assist customers after accidents or major disasters.
• Must reside in New York City, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting damage.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Valid driver’s license (must meet company underwriting guidelines).
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• Willingness to be flexible with primary work location (remote or field work).
• Solid computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Multi-tasking skills.
• Effective attention to detail.
• Effective decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to expand on communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree or currently pursuing is preferred.

Salary

• The annual salary range is $29.00 - $45.28.
