UI/UX Designer Intern (Founder's Office)

About the Role

This is a UI/UX Designer Intern position within the Founder's Office at EverydaySmile.

Key Responsibilities

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs for our product.
• Map complex healthcare workflows and user journeys.
• Build and maintain a consistent design system and component library.
• Work closely with developers and product stakeholders to deliver implementation-ready designs.
• Conduct basic user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Figma (primary tool).
• Working knowledge of Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (Figma Prototyping, InVision, Marvel, or similar).
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and auto-layout in Figma.
• Strong grasp of UX principles: information architecture, user flows, accessibility (WCAG basics).
• Visual design proficiency: typography, spacing, color, responsive layouts.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to communicate effectively with front-end developers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of UI/UX design experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or ERP software.
• Understanding of ERP module flows and healthcare-specific screens (EMR, OPD, pharmacy POS, inventory).
• Passionate about UI/UX.
• Understanding fundamental design concepts such as color theory, typography, and composition.
