About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Structural Supervisor role based in Chennai. The Structural Supervisor will oversee structural construction and installation activities for EPCC projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising site crews.
• Coordinating with project engineers and other discipline leads.
• Monitoring work progress.
• Resolving technical or operational issues on the ground.
• Reviewing structural drawings and method statements.
• Planning material and equipment requirements.
• Conducting inspections.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
• Supporting HSE initiatives.
• Participating in toolbox talks.
• Contributing to continuous improvement in site productivity and quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong structural supervision and site management skills.
• Experience overseeing steel and concrete works.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and propose practical solutions.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies.
• Knowledge of EPCC project workflows.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations for petroleum, oil and gas, or marine projects.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality control and HSE practices.
• Experience conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to guide crews.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and project management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in structural supervision on industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on EPCC projects in petroleum, oil and gas, offshore-onshore, or marine environments is highly beneficial.
