Internship Trainee

About the Role

The Internship Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based at Golden Leaves Convention Center Indore. Interns will support daily operations across one or more departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Banquets, Food & Beverage, Sales, or Administration, depending on organizational needs and learning objectives. The role is designed to provide practical exposure to hospitality operations, with guidance from supervisors and opportunities for learning and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with guest check-in and check-out.
• Coordinating event setups.
• Supporting room and venue readiness.
• Maintaining documentation and records.
• Shadowing team members to understand standard operating procedures.
• Helping to respond to guest queries.
• Following safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Contributing to smooth coordination between departments.

Qualifications

• Foundational hospitality skills, such as guest service orientation, basic front office operations, and understanding of hotel/event environments.
• Organizational and coordination abilities, including time management, task follow-through, and attention to detail in daily operations.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for interacting professionally with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with using email, spreadsheets, and hospitality-related software or tools (training will be provided as needed).
• Ability to work on-site in Indore on a full-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts when required.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a structured training environment.
• Enrollment in or completion of a hospitality, hotel management, event management, tourism, or related program is preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional grooming standards and adherence to company policies on safety, cleanliness, and guest privacy.
