About the Role
Thinkhome.in is seeking a Junior Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Support in space planning, material and finish selection.
- Aid in the development of detailed drawings and presentations.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to understand requirements.
- Assist in presenting design solutions.
- Ensure projects align with brand standards and user experience goals.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
- Review site progress.
- Maintain design documentation.
- Ensure timely project delivery.
- Support the mentoring of junior designers.
- Contribute to design guidelines for the platform.
- Stay updated on interior trends and products featured on Thinkhome.in.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in interior design, space planning, and concept development.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools, including:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Revit
- 3D rendering software
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in materials and finishes selection.
- Experience in furniture and lighting specification.
- Experience in coordination with vendors and contractors.
- Project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to present ideas clearly.
- Ability to negotiate with stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with digital platforms that connect brands, designers, and consumers.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating residential and/or commercial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Knowledge of current interior design trends.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
