Role Overview

• Full-time remote role for 1 to 3 months.
• Involves reviewing patient health records, understanding diagnostic and procedural information, and assigning standardized alphanumeric codes.
• Must comply with healthcare coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation, physician notes, and laboratory reports for accurate interpretation.
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT/HCPCS procedure codes following official coding guidelines.
• Assist in identifying documentation discrepancies and support revenue cycle workflows.
• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare confidentiality standards and patient data privacy guidelines.
• Maintain daily coding logs, accuracy trackers, and documentation records in Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related healthcare disciplines (Freshers welcome).
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiological processes.
• Formal training or certification coursework in Medical Coding (CPC / ICD-10 training is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Compensation & Details

• Stipend: ₹14,000 – ₹15,000 per month
• Duration: 1 to 3 Months
• Work Mode: Remote (India)
• Certificate: Internship completion certificate upon successful project delivery.
