Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. You will create efficient data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow across various systems. Ensuring the accuracy and quality of data is a key part of your role, along with implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data effectively. Your work enables seamless data migration and deployment, supporting the broader data infrastructure and analytics needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
• Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes.
• Migrate and deploy data across systems.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows to improve performance and reliability.
• Document data processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Assist junior team members in understanding data engineering concepts and best practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must have skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Experience with designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of data storage solutions and database management.
• Familiarity with data quality assurance and validation techniques.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data processing workflows.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 15 years of full-time education required.
• This position is based at our DDC2A - SEZ location.
