About the Role

Integral University is seeking a full-time, on-site Associate Professor for their campus in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This role involves contributing to teaching, research, and academic administration within a specific discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory or studio sessions.
• Mentor learners and evaluate their performance through assignments, examinations, and projects.
• Maintain accurate academic records.
• Supervise postgraduate and doctoral research.
• Publish scholarly work.
• Participate in curriculum development to ensure alignment with current academic and industry standards.
• Support departmental activities.
• Serve on academic committees.
• Contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes.
• Participate in outreach and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in the relevant academic discipline.
• Record of quality teaching at the university level.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging course content.
• Proven research capabilities, including experience supervising research projects.
• Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience contributing to conferences or academic seminars.
• Effective academic mentoring and learner support skills.
• Ability to guide diverse learners, provide constructive feedback, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Competence in academic administration and coordination, such as participation in curriculum development, examination processes, accreditation activities, and departmental committees.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong command of English (and preferably Hindi).
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
• Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in the applicable field.
• Qualifications and experience aligned to national regulatory norms (e.g., UGC or other statutory bodies).
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical academic practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
• Demonstrated commitment to the use of educational technologies and learning management systems.
• Experience in community outreach, industry collaboration, or interdisciplinary initiatives will be considered an added advantage.
