Associate

About the Role

The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort in Madgaon. The Associate will support daily resort operations, including assisting guests at check-in and check-out, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests at check-in and check-out.
• Respond to guest inquiries.
• Ensure a smooth and pleasant guest experience.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and food and beverage teams.
• Maintain public areas.
• Support event setups.
• Promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols.
• Handle basic administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold Novotel’s service standards and brand values.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and guest relations skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in Goa is an advantage.
• Basic administrative and organizational skills, including handling documentation and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
• Previous experience in hospitality, resort operations, or front-of-house roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfort with using basic computer systems and reservation or property management software is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or higher education in hospitality or tourism is a plus.
