About the Role

The Graduate Student role at ELIX IIIT Kottayam is a full-time, on-site position based in Thrissur. The graduate student will actively participate in electronics-focused projects, contribute to designing, prototyping, and testing hardware systems, and support ongoing research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with club members.
• Assisting in organizing technical sessions or workshops.
• Documenting project work.
• Maintaining lab equipment and project repositories.
• Mentoring junior students.
• Presenting project results.
• Exploring new technologies relevant to electronics and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in electronics, electrical engineering, or closely related fields.
• Hands-on experience with basic electronic components, circuit design, and use of lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, or hardware platforms (such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar boards).
• Ability to document technical work clearly and collaborate effectively in team-based projects.
• Enrollment in or completion of a relevant graduate program (e.g., M.Tech, M.Sc, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Interest in research, willingness to learn new tools and technologies, and enthusiasm for contributing to club activities.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time and responsibilities in a full-time academic environment.
