About the Role
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer.
- Based in Noida with flexibility for partial work from home.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications that power the PYAAS platform.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement new features.
- Write clean and testable code.
- Integrate with third-party APIs.
- Optimize performance for mobile and web experiences.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues.
- Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Maintain documentation.
- Help improve development workflows and tooling.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including experience with modern programming languages and development workflows.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their practical application.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms or deployment environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) and basic DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Familiarity with automated testing and debugging.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, with understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative startup environment.
