Procurement Executive

About the Role

The Procurement Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including vendor identification, negotiation, and issuance of purchase orders to support Zesty Vibe’s product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities.
• Identify vendors.
• Negotiate terms.
• Issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with farmers, FPOs, and manufacturing partners to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain quality and cost efficiency of procured items.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Track order status.
• Resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, production, finance) to align procurement plans with business needs and expansion goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Experience in food, agriculture, or FMCG sectors is beneficial.
• Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and managing purchase orders.
• Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with basic ERP or procurement software is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and purchase management.
• Solid analytical skills for cost analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and demand forecasting.
• Effective communication skills for working with farmers, FPOs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
