Key Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically greet guests upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests to their seats.
- Maintain overall guest flow to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Open doors for arriving and departing guests.
- Accommodate guest needs such as boosters, highchairs, and disabilities.
- Manage the waitlist when the restaurant is full.
- Provide guest assistance to servers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete assigned cleaning tasks.
- Invite guests back for another experience.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
- Mobility required during the entire shift.
- Ability to transport and carry objects (such as a high-chair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times a shift.
- Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor, and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
- Adequate vision to discern cleanliness and operate a touchscreen.
Qualifications
- A desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
- A positive attitude.
- Physical requirements include:
- Navigating throughout the restaurant and communicating with guests.
- Moving and grasping items up to five pounds.
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Bending and stooping.
This role is paid the tip credit minimum wage, plus tips. Actual take-home pay varies.
