About the Role
This role is onsite at Accredo Health Group, Inc., 677 Ala Moana Blvd. Suite 404, Honolulu, HI.
Schedule
Mon - Fri, between 6a - 6p.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the fulfilment team in prescription management.
- Perform benefits investigation and verification.
- Pick, pack, and ship medications.
- Perform order entry.
- Record customer service notes.
- Manage inventory.
- Conduct patient and provider correspondence.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA regulations, especially when communicating with parties outside of Express Scripts.
- Work in accordance with Policies and Procedures (P&P) and work instructions with onsite or offsite departments.
- Cross-train and develop proficiency across all functional areas of the job.
- Process prescriptions and manage inventory.
- Work in a production setting to support production needs and stay familiar with current work instructions.
- Primary focus on fulfilment and inventory management, with willingness to cross-train.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic math skills
- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to hold people accountable to hit production rates and determine appropriate reasons when rates are not met.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times and adjust to changing needs.
- Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes/programs as needed.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.
- Hawaii State Pharmacy Technician License.
