Human Resources Business Partner

About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance on HR policies, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. This contract role is fully remote and requires regular collaboration across time zones using digital tools and virtual meetings. The HRBP will also contribute to HR process improvement, documentation, and data-informed decision-making to support a high-performing, mission-aligned team.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on employee relations matters.
• Support performance management processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.
• Collaborate with managers to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business goals, including talent development, feedback frameworks, and culture-building programs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies: Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying HR frameworks to support business objectives.
• Employee Relations: Strong skills including coaching managers, resolving conflicts, and supporting engagement and retention initiatives.
• Labor and Employment Law: Solid understanding with experience maintaining compliance in a remote or distributed workforce environment.
• Performance Management: Proficiency in goal setting, feedback processes, and performance improvement strategies.
• HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working in a remote, fast-evolving setting with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
• HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
• Interest in human development, organizational psychology, or mission-driven work related to human agency and consciousness is highly beneficial.
