- Utilize PostgreSQL via Aurora as the primary datastore.
- Deploy services to production multiple times per day, enabled by CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize GitHub Actions for Sonarcloud, SemGrep, and JUnit/Pact testing.
- Experience modern GitOps using ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with the Cloud team who use Docker, Terraform, EKS/Kubernetes for platform operations.
- Monitor services and investigate issues using DataDog.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand user needs, business opportunities, and regulatory requirements, translating them into well-engineered solutions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience building server-side applications with detailed knowledge of relevant programming languages for your stack.
- Willingness to learn Java if you don't already know it, as most services are written in Java.
- Sound knowledge of a backend framework (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot) used to write microservices that expose and consume RESTful APIs.
- Experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment, with an understanding of CI/CD fundamentals and practical Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated mindset for delivering secure, well-tested, and well-documented software that integrates with various third-party providers and partners.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery velocity.
