Entry Level Salesforce Engineer

About the Role
This is an entry-level remote role supporting Salesforce and its surrounding applications. You will learn and support applications such as Outreach, Gong, Gainsight, Marketing Cloud, LEAH (ContractPodAI), and Calendly. The role will begin with support, configuration, and user administration, and will evolve into full Salesforce development.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer support tickets and manage user access and licenses.
- Fix data synchronization issues with Salesforce.
- Make Salesforce configuration changes to fields, layouts, and flows.
- Grow into Apex development and Lightning Web Components.
- Learn and support applications around Salesforce, such as Gainsight, LEAH, Gong, and Outreach.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience building on Salesforce through an internship, co-op, academic project, or personal project.
- Written code in a language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Ability to learn new applications independently and openness to hands-on training.
- Ability to explain technical fixes clearly to non-IT personnel.
- A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce is the central platform.
- Applications supported include Outreach, Gong, Gainsight, Marketing Cloud, LEAH, and Calendly.
- Boomi is used for system integration.
- Future potential to work with Service Cloud Voice, Agentforce, or Revenue Cloud Advanced.
- AI agents (currently Claude) are used for analysis, design, build, debugging, and troubleshooting.
What Helps
- Experience with applications such as Outreach, Gong, Gainsight, Marketing Cloud, LEAH, or Calendly.
- A Salesforce Associate, Administrator, or Platform App Builder certification.
- Progress on Trailhead.
- Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, or integration concepts.
- Use of AI tools for coding or research.

Compensation Range
$69,852-$97,094
