About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Engineer role based in Siliguri.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects across rail, industrial, and sustainability domains.
- Assist with technical drawings, documentation, and compliance checks.
- Conduct site visits.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Collect data and perform basic analysis.
- Prepare reports to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Help implement sustainable solutions.
- Participate in project reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Ability to assist with design, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Basic proficiency in CAD or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to conduct field inspections.
- Ability to gather technical data.
- Support installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Interest in sustainability solutions such as solar power, water management, and energy efficiency.
- Willingness to learn sector-specific practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior engineers, clients, and on-site personnel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Capacity to follow structured processes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
- Willingness to work on-site in Siliguri.
- Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.
- Prior internship or project experience in rail, industrial, or infrastructure domains is an advantage.
