This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior designers in developing interior concepts.
- Prepare design presentations.
- Assist with space planning and layout optimization for residential and commercial projects.
- Create and update drawings.
- Coordinate FF&E selections.
- Prepare material boards.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform site visits and measurements.
- Ensure design solutions align with sustainability and client requirements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Qualifications
- Skills in Interior Design and Architecture.
- Understanding of design principles, building systems, and materials.
- Skills in Space Planning, including layout optimization and functional zoning for different types of spaces.
- Skills in Construction Drawings, including basic drafting, detailing, and coordination with project teams.
- Skills in FF&E, including selection, specification, and documentation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow design guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to adapt to project timelines and priorities.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Internship or project experience in interior design is an advantage.
