About the Role

VAISHALI ENGINEERING & CONSULTANCY SERVICE (VECS) is seeking an MEP Engineer / Fire System Design Engineer for their design office in Mumbai, working in a full-time capacity. This role involves supporting the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing fire system designs.
• Developing HVAC layouts and calculations.
• Preparing drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensuring integration of MEP services with fire safety, process, and piping systems.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) for MEP design and documentation.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, fire safety standards, and industrial regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong skills in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) design and Building Services.
• Skills in Plumbing systems design and integration.
• Skills in fire fighting system design related to building and industrial projects.
• Skills in MEP Coordination, including clash detection and alignment of services with structural and architectural plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing abilities.
• Prior experience in EPC, fire safety, or process industry projects is an advantage.
