PHP Web Developer Intern, NON-PAID

About the Role

• This is a full-time, non-paid PHP Web Developer Intern role.
• Based in Bengaluru.
• Hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement back-end logic.
• Integrate front-end components.
• Write clean, modular code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to database interactions and API integrations.
• Work with the team to refine requirements.
• Perform code reviews.
• Ensure web solutions are performant, secure, and aligned with project goals.
• Learn modern development practices, version control workflows, and basic deployment processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Back-End Web Development with a focus on PHP and related frameworks.
• Skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and solid understanding of programming principles.
• Skills in Front-End Development, including basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Skills in general Software Development and Programming, including problem-solving and debugging.
• Familiarity with relational databases (such as MySQL), version control tools (such as Git), and basic web security concepts is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical guidance and project specifications.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
• Adaptability to hybrid working arrangements in Bengaluru.
