AWS DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the automation, deployment, security, and management of cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and monitor AWS production environments.
• Manage AWS accounts and cloud resources.
• Work with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, and related technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and manage CI/CD tools, including GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Develop Python scripts and automation tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, application, and cross-platform issues.
• Provide operational and engineering support for cloud infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and metrics instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement cloud security best practices.
• Establish standards and guidelines for IaC, CI/CD, cloud operations, and deployment processes.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Work effectively within a large Agile engineering team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated experience designing, building, deploying, and managing AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Understanding of software development, testing, release management, and deployment processes.
• Experience implementing cloud security, access management, and infrastructure compliance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in large Agile teams and collaborating across engineering and operations functions.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a larger technical team.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts or prior exposure to AI technologies.
• Demonstrated interest in AI through self-learning, online courses, technical reading, or hands-on experimentation.
• Willingness to explore and adopt AI-powered tools to improve DevOps automation.
