Jr. Site Reliability Engineer

Role: Jr. Site Reliability Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)

Contract Type: W2 Only

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Pay Range: $50.00 to $52.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of FedRAMP vulnerability findings.
• Prioritize and triage vulnerabilities based on impact and urgency.
• Implement and coordinate software fixes through automation tools.
• Validate remediations using build artifacts and system evidence.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and automation for the vulnerability process.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Vulnerability Management (advanced)
• Linux administration and distributed infrastructure (advanced)
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (advanced)
• Ansible (advanced)

Qualifications

• Practical experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Proficiency in Linux administration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Experience supporting cloud-based production environments, particularly in a government-regulated sector like FedRAMP, is highly preferred.
