RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/CASHIER SEASONAL

About the Role

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/CASHIER. This role involves engaging with customers, supporting day-to-day store operations, contributing to team success, and creating a welcoming, efficient environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale, ensuring a smooth checkout experience and fostering customer loyalty.
• Ensure customer service standards are met and handle difficult customer situations courteously and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department through replenishment, cycle counts, and merchandising support.
• Recommend and sell appropriate service plans.
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
• Support overall store operations by promoting loss prevention awareness, assisting with basic office functions, and helping prepare for physical inventory.
• Adhere to operational policies and procedures to meet company standards.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset with a genuine interest in creating positive customer experiences.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to assist multiple customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the store for the duration of each shift.
• Requires frequent manual lifting and carrying of objects up to 10 lbs, and occasional manual lifting of 11–75 lbs (and rarely up to 100 lbs) to load, unload, and shelf products.
• Requires the frequent use of manual tools, including dollies and carts, alongside repetitive keyboard operation.
