About the Role

• Full-time, on-site role responsible for operating a Digital Read Out (DRO) milling machine.
• Produce components to specified dimensions and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up the DRO milling machine.
• Selecting appropriate tools.
• Interpreting engineering drawings.
• Performing milling operations on various materials.
• Monitoring machine performance.
• Performing basic maintenance.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Inspecting finished parts.
• Documenting production activities.
• Coordinating with supervisors and quality teams.
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Machine Operation skills (setup, calibration, safe handling of DRO milling machines).
• Quality Control skills (measure, inspect, verify dimensions and tolerances).
• Machinery knowledge (basic maintenance, troubleshooting, understanding of mechanical systems).
• Communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Hand Tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of shop safety practices and willingness to follow safety guidelines.
• Capability to work on-site in Bengaluru.
• Capability to handle physical aspects of machine operation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a milling machine operator or in a similar machining role is preferred.
• A minimum of a relevant technical qualification (e.g., ITI, diploma, or equivalent) in mechanical or manufacturing disciplines is beneficial.
