Artificial Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare)
About the Role
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare) will design, build, and deploy AI solutions that address complex healthcare challenges, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and train machine learning models.
- Implement pattern recognition and neural network algorithms.
- Work with NLP techniques to extract insights from medical text and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, data scientists, and healthcare domain experts, to translate business needs into robust AI systems.
- Integrate AI systems into existing software platforms.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable application design.
- Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models.
- Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially applied to healthcare data such as clinical notes and medical literature.
- Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Proficiency with version control systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to work with healthcare datasets.
- Understanding of data privacy and compliance considerations is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare technology, consulting, or product development is a plus.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai.
