About the Role
Big Mouth Social is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor with a maximum of 1-2 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of social media content and can transform raw footage into engaging, well-paced reels.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos.
- Work with Instagram Edits, CapCut, and Canva.
- Select suitable music, sound effects, and trending audio for different content styles.
- Use transitions thoughtfully to create smooth, dynamic edits.
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to plan video concepts.
- Assist in planning and coordinating brand and client shoots.
- Shoot good-quality content using a smartphone.
- Adapt edits according to different brand styles and content objectives.
- Stay updated with emerging reel formats, editing trends, and social media content styles.
- Organize footage and deliver edits within agreed timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong understanding of short-form video and Instagram Reels.
- Good command of CapCut, Instagram Edits, and Canva.
- Keen sense of visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, and music selection.
- Interest in planning shoots and confidently shooting content on a phone.
- Creativity, curiosity, and willingness to experiment with fresh ideas.
- Ability to understand briefs, accept feedback, and work collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects (added advantage).
Qualifications
- The candidate must be based in Pune and comfortable working from the office full-time.
- People with more than 2 years of experience do not apply.
