Business Development & Growth Intern

About the Role

This is a remote internship role for a Business Development & Growth Intern at Atlis. The intern will support lead generation efforts by identifying prospective SaaS customers, researching their needs, and maintaining accurate records in Atlis’s CRM and growth tools. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in business development, growth operations, and SaaS lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify prospective SaaS customers.
• Research customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records in Atlis’s CRM and growth tools.
• Assist with market research.
• Prepare outreach lists.
• Help craft and refine messaging for emails and social channels.
• Follow up with leads under guidance from the growth team.
• Analyze performance data from campaigns.
• Contribute to experiments that improve conversion and retention.
• Collaborate with customer-facing team members to understand user feedback and opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools).
• Basic familiarity with CRM or sales tools is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and evaluate growth experiments.
• Effective communication skills for clear written and verbal outreach, collaboration, and reporting.
• Lead generation skills, including prospecting, list building, and initial qualification of potential customers.
• Market research skills to study SaaS segments, competitors, and customer needs.
• Customer service skills to interact professionally with prospects and users and represent Atlis positively.
• Interest in SaaS products, growth marketing, and lifecycle automation; prior exposure is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in business, marketing, analytics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
