About the Role
- Contract, on-site Python Trainer position based in Mysore.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured training programs in Python, including core concepts, object-oriented programming, libraries, frameworks, and best practices.
- Prepare training materials.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions.
- Organize hands-on coding exercises and projects.
- Assess participant progress through assignments, quizzes, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training content with industry standards.
- Provide mentoring and support to learners.
- Update curricula based on emerging tools and trends.
- Maintain training documentation.
- Offer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure a professional, inclusive learning environment.
- Manage multiple training batches.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Python programming skills, including core syntax, OOP, error handling, standard libraries.
- Familiarity with popular Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Skills in data handling and analysis with Python, such as working with pandas, NumPy, data visualization tools, and basic scripting for automation.
- Training and facilitation skills, including curriculum design, lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
- Communication and presentation skills, including clear verbal and written communication, ability to explain complex concepts simply, and effective interpersonal skills.
- General technical proficiency, such as experience with IDEs, version control (Git), basic software development workflows.
- Familiarity with related technologies (e.g., databases, APIs).
- Ability to work on-site in Mysore.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience are beneficial.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or corporate faculty in Python or software development is an advantage.
- Recognized certifications in Python or teaching are an advantage.
