About the Role

As a Material Assistant for Decentralized Photovoltaic Projects, you will support project teams with material planning, procurement, and logistics for solar projects in the Greater Bengaluru Area. You will coordinate warehouse stocks, check deliveries, document material movements, and ensure that required components are available on construction sites in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse stocks
• Check deliveries
• Document material movements
• Ensure timely availability of components on construction sites
• Collaborate closely with purchasing, warehouse, construction management, and external suppliers to avoid bottlenecks and ensure material quality
• Maintain material lists
• Conduct basic inventory analyses
• Support with inventory and reporting to project management

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in material management, warehouse logistics, or procurement, ideally in the construction, energy, or photovoltaic sectors.
• Basic understanding of photovoltaic components (e.g., modules, inverters, mounting systems, cabling) and interest in renewable energies.
• Good organizational skills and a meticulous work approach.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in parallel.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills when dealing with project management, construction personnel, and suppliers.
• Proficient use of Office software (especially spreadsheets).
• Ideally, experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or a degree in a technical, commercial, or logistical field is advantageous; relevant professional experience can substitute this.
• Willingness to work on-site at projects.
• Resilience in day-to-day project work.
• High reliability.

This is a contract role, to be performed exclusively on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area.
