Summer 2027 News Media Internship Program

Placement Area: FOX Noticias

This internship opportunity is specifically focused on supporting FOX Noticias, our Spanish-language news platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in areas such as editorial production, digital content creation, cutting video, research, social media strategy, and audience engagement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above.
• Strong academic record.
• Committed and available to work for the entire length of the program.
• Access to own housing and transportation to/from the assigned internship site.
• Bilingual required (Spanish and English).
• Demonstrate knowledge of current events and/or news.
• Knowledge of current FOX programming and talent.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interfacing with talent and executives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work well on teams and collaborative efforts.
• Knowledge of the company and news/media industry.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of current events on a national scale.
• Knowledge of software systems and programs relevant to your desired area of placement (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, iNews, Avid, FinalCut Pro, Dalet for Production).
• A self-starter attitude and pro-active nature.
• Strong attention to detail.

Summer 2027 Schedule

• General Application Deadline: Sunday, January 10, 2027
• Summer Session 1: Monday, June 7, 2027 - Friday, July 30, 2027
• Summer Session 2: Monday, June 21, 2027 - Friday, August 13, 2027
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 - 40 hours per week
• Schedules vary based on department needs and your availability. Efforts will be made to work around your class schedule.

Program Features

• FOX Master Classes: Presentations, panels, discussions, and trainings focused on advancing knowledge of the company, industry, and software systems.
• Professional Development Series: Activities geared toward enhancing professional development.
• Networking Opportunities: Numerous opportunities to connect with fellow interns and other professionals within the company.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
