About the Role
Lockheed Martin is seeking an entry-level RF engineering professional at our campus in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This role offers an opportunity to work with and learn from industry-leading RF and microwave design professionals. It is ideally suited for an aspiring RF and microwave enthusiast.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the manufacturing of complex multi-function modules for high-reliability applications.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting of circuits for advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing operation to resolve assembly and test issues.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (hardware, systems, circuit design) and technicians.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Academic experience or knowledge of using RF/microwave test equipment, which may include:
- RF Power measurements
- DC Power Supplies
- Pulse Generators
- Digital Multimeters
- Power Meters/Sensors
- Signal Generators
- Network Analyzers
- Spectrum Analyzers
- Oscilloscopes
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD clearance.
- Must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills
- Related RF undergrad internship experience is desired.
- Academic experience with RF/microwave project design (active or passive circuit design).
- Familiarity with RF/microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST) is desired.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is desired.
- Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data is desired.
- Demonstrated academic achievement.
Pay Information
- Full-Time Salary Range: $75400.00 - $140000.00
