About the Role

The Jewelry CAD Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The role involves creating precise 2D and 3D CAD models for rings, necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry pieces, translating design concepts and sketches into production-ready digital files.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise 2D and 3D CAD models for jewelry pieces.
• Translate design concepts and sketches into production-ready digital files.
• Prepare technical and construction drawings.
• Specify measurements and materials.
• Collaborate with designers, craftsmen, and production teams to ensure feasibility, structural integrity, and manufacturing accuracy.
• Refine designs based on feedback.
• Optimize models for casting and stone setting.
• Maintain a library of CAD files.
• Ensure all designs meet brand standards and quality requirements.
• Adhere to project timelines.
• Coordinate with workshops.
• Continuously improve design processes and techniques.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for jewelry.
• Proficiency in relevant design software.
• Ability in Technical Drawing and Drawing to convert design ideas into clear, accurate visual representations.
• Experience with Construction Drawings and Design Engineering to ensure structurally sound, production-ready jewelry designs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, strong spatial and dimensional understanding, and ability to work with fine tolerances.
• Previous experience in jewelry design or manufacturing is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of metals, gemstones, and casting processes is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond constructively to design feedback.
• Diploma or degree in jewelry design, industrial design, mechanical design, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Hyderabad.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects within agreed timelines.
