About the Role
The Engineering team drives the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of business and technology solutions. The team partners with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to provide technical leadership, accelerate delivery, ensure solution quality, and enable scalable, maintainable platforms that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture
- Applies defined designs; contributes to impact analysis within a bounded, well-understood scope.
- Development & Delivery
- Builds and tests configuration, rules, and simple integrations; delivers reliably against sprint commitments.
- Technical Contribution
- Learns through mentorship and code review; participates in, rather than drives, technical discussion.
- Production Support
- Assists in triage and deployment activity under guidance; follows established operational standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicates at the task level; clarifies requirements within assigned work. Communication must be concise, clear, and free of ambiguity.
- Talent Development
- Focused on self-growth; begins sharing learnings with peers.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Product Model and Guidewire Data Model Extensions
- Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter)
- Working REST/SOAP and Java/J2EE knowledge
- Looking for individual contributes to configuration, development, and support work, growing toward independent ownership of well-defined scope.
